Michael Bay's Mansion in Bel Air, California
Director Michael Bay’s minimalist mansion has panoramic views and palatial space.
The three-story home designed by Chad Oppenheim (but built over four years by Rios Clementi Hale Studios) is comprised of a series of rectangular volumes, with two bedroom suites with glass walls balanced atop the main level.
With its many overhangs and column-free interiors, it's a surprisingly elegant exercise in minimalism. Naturally, it has a 49-seat cinema room and a movie prop museum.
