Most expensive home in San Francisco $40 million
A spec house in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco is asking $40 million. This makes it the most expensive home for sale in San Francisco right now.
Four years in the making, the approximately 11,400-square-foot limestone home is brand new from top to bottom. The property features seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and four half baths, three fireplaces, and a terrace with views of the bay.
Developer Bill Campbell of Marble Management purchased the house in 2009. Architect Tom Taylor of Taylor Lombardo is the mind behind the home, with interior architecture by Handel Architects.
New owner will have Oracle billionaire Larry Ellison and Apple design guru Jony Ive as neighbors.
